Tense - Future Tense

Tense' বা 'কাল' জানা ইংরেজি শেখার জন্য খুব জরুরি। অনেকেই Tense সম্পর্কে কিছু জেনে থাকবে। এই ব্লগের উদ্দেশ্য হল Tense সম্পর্কে বিশদ আলোচনা যার ফলে ইংরেজি শিক্ষা আরও সহজতর হবে। এখানে Future Tense নিয়ে আলোচনা করা হল।

Future Tense কে চার ভাগে ভাগ করা যায়।

(a) Simple Future Tense.
(b) Future Continuous Tense.
(c) Future Perfect Tense.
(d) Future Perfact Continuous Tense.

(a) Simple Future Tense.  ভবিষ্যতে কোনো কাজ হবে বা  কোনো কাজ করবো, এই ক্ষেত্রে এই tense এর ব্যবহার হয়।
উদাহরণ
He will go to school.
সে বিদ্যালয়ে যাবে।

I shall eat a mango.
আমি একটি আম খাব।

We shall go to market.
আমরা বাজারে যাব।

এই tense এ বাক্যের গঠন নিম্নরূপ।

Subject (we) + shall/will (shall) + present-form verb (go) + Object (market)

কোন subject এর পর shall ও will ব্যবহৃত হয়।

I shall - first person singular.
We shall - first person plural.
You will - second person singular/plural.
He/she will - third person singular.
They will - third person plural.
Ram will - third person singular.
Ram and Shyam will - third person plural.

উপরের ব্যবহার হতে স্পষ্ট যে first person এর ক্ষেত্রে shall এবং অন্য ক্ষেত্রে will এর ব্যবহার হয়।

(b) Future Continuous Tense. যদি কোনো কাজ ভবিষ্যতে চলতে থাকবে, সেক্ষেত্রে এই tense এর ব্যবহার হয়।

I shall be doing my homework.

আমি আমার হোমওয়ার্ক করতে থাকব।

You will be playing football.

তুমি ফুটবল খেলতে থাকবে।

উপরের দুটি sentence এ কোন কাজ ভবিষ্যতে চলতে থাকবে।

এই sentence এর গঠন নিম্নরূপ।

Subject  (you) + shall be/will be (will be) + present-form verb-ing (playing) + object (football)

কোন subject এর পর shall বা will বসবে তা উপরে আলোচনা করা হয়েছে।

(c) Future Perfect Tense.  ভবিষ্যতে কোনও নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের মধ্যে কিছু কাজ হবে। এই অবস্থায় এই tense এর ব্যবহার হয়।

Raju will have reached station before you go there.

তোমার ওখানে পৌঁছনোর আগে রাজু স্টেশনে পৌছে যাবে।

By the end of the year I shall have saved ten thousand rupees.

বছরের শেষে আমি দশ হাজার টাকা জমা করতে পারব।

The manager will have submitted his account by the end of 31st Mar.

ম্যানেজার ৩১ মার্চের শেষে হিসাব জমা দেবে।

উপরের sentence হতে বোঝা যাচ্ছে ভবিষ্যতে কোনো নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের মধ্যে কোনো কাজ সম্পন্ন হচ্ছে।

এই sentense এর গঠন নিম্নরূপ।

Subject (The manager) + shall have/will have (will have) + past participle form of verb (submitted) + object (his account) + rest of sentense (by the end of 31st March)

(d) Future Perfect Continuous Tense.  ভবিষ্যতে কোন কাজ কোন নির্দিষ্ট সময় হতে শুরু হয়ে চলতে থাকবে, এই ক্ষেত্রে এই tense এর প্রয়োগ হয়। যদিও এই tense এর ব্যবহার ভবিষ্যতে সীমিত।

He will have been playing.

সে খেলিতে থাকিবে।

এই sentense এর গঠন নিম্নরূপ।

Subject (He) + shall have been/will have been (will have been) + present form of verb-ing (playing)
